The 14th October 2009 saw the soft launch of the Bachelor of Science (Hons), a topping-up degree for staff nurses with diploma qualifications. This auspicious ceremony was officiated by the most honourable Dato Professor Dr. Hashim Yaacob, Vice Chancellor, IUCN. About 40 invited guests and students attended the ceremony. IUCN aims to help upgrade 80% of diploma trained Malaysian nurses to degree level in the next ten years.

Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, May 26, 2008 - Sealing the deal for a 200-acre land at the Signing Ceremony of Land Sale & Purchase Agreement at Bandar Sri Sendayan, Seremban between Menteri Besar, Negeri Sembilan (Incorporation) (MBI) and International University College of Nursing (IUCN), Bandar Sri Sendayan in Negeri Sembilan is set to house the first international university dedicated solely for nursing education with multi-discipline specializations. It will be the first and one of its kind in the world. The Sale & Purchase Agreement were signed by YAB Dato' Seri Utama Hj. Mohamad bin Hj. Hasan, Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, YB Dato' Abdul Radzak Bin Abdul Rahman, State Government Finance Officer and Board of Trustees of MBI, Mr. Summugam Ramasamy, Executive Chairman of IUCN who is also the Director of Run Education Sdn Bhd and Y.A.M. Tunke Dato' Seri Nadzaruddin Ibni Tunku Ja'afar, Director of Run Education Sdn Bhd. The signing ceremony were also attended by YB Dato' Hj. Mohd Haslah Mohd Amin, CEO of MBI and Chairman of BSS Development Sdn Bhd, Y.Bhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Hashim Yaacob, Vice Chancellor and CEO of International University College of Nursing and Y.Bhg.
